A Sirens Song

A Sirens song is not for death of men,
The terrible cry of her heart,
Break of Harmony
Conquest for silence,
Dare, reach this darkness.
Confusion, pain and anger crushing,
My sensual love undone,
Design marked on the sky,
Dot-toDot,
Solve the riddle of life.
Water thicker than Blood,
Dry flow of tears,
Endless Suffering,
Seek solace from my shadows,
Sirens hear it come.
See clouds approaching,
Black horizons,
They show me,
Coldness looms on our hearts,
For all eternity.
My breath dies in the dark abyss,
Dying flames,
Reflect shimmering turqiose,
Golden light beneath Mother Ocean,
Goddes Aurora still comes.
A Sirens song a lesson for man,
Come close and see,
I will show you,
I want you this is what love can be,
Give me forgiveness show me your soul.
I'm not entirely sure what this poem is about, I was upset when I wrote it. I'm a very visual person and was trying to describe some feelings which ultimately play with the colours in my mind. I also tried to capture a mixture of my feelings with the ancient 'tails' of sirens, who supposedly lured men to death. I think what this is saying is that Sirens are not evil, they are lost and in love. The coldness of the ocean turns their hearts cold for all eternity, they cannot love. Their love is not meant to lead men on to death but warn them not seek out Sirens since they cannot love. The verses that mention clouds and flames, refer to a storm brought on by the tears and magic of the Sirens, which causes a ship to sink. Yet at the end the song still acknowledges that love can exist in this world and that a new day will arise no matter what. Sirens know what love is, they feel cursed to always create wrong.
